Junior Project Manager
Passionate about TV series and novels, Alessia loves cuddling her cat, traveling, and exploring the authentic flavors of the places she visits.
Her interest in languages and in the Japanese culture led her to pursue a degree in Asian Studies at La Sapienza University of Rome. While attending university, she worked in the library of her department, where she spent entire days surrounded by manuals and novels.
During her master’s degree, she had the opportunity to live in Japan for a year, where she attended the University of Tokyo and befriended people from all over the world, creating bonds that transcended language and cultural barriers. This experience fueled her interest in the localization industry, where she found a perfect fusion between her language skills and her desire to break down barriers between different cultures.
Back in Italy, she attended the Localization Academy’s Project Management bootcamp in collaboration with Creative Words, through which she discovered her aptitude for this role.
Her secret dream remains to publish a translation of a Japanese novel in Italy, and she can’t wait to travel again to Japan and visit all 47 prefectures she has heard so much about.
