Giulia fell in love with translation at the age of nine. She studied foreign languages during secondary school and acquired her MA in literary translation from French into Italian at the University of Genoa.
In 2011, right after graduating, she began her career as a freelance translator; she worked with Italian and foreign agencies, and taught translation for several years in a school for linguistic mediators. Though she’s a lone wolf by nature, in 2018 she decided to change her life and jump to the other side of the fence to join Creative Words as a Project Manager.
She likes almost everything, in particular: walking, Harry Potter, going to the movies, eating, laughing, the Marvel Universe, knitting, going to the beach, and watching TV series.
She doesn’t like: negativity, pointless whining, and the lack of a sense of humour.
