Privacy notice in accordance with Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679

The personal data you provide by filling in the form in the “Contact Us” section will be processed, also by means of computerised and electronic tools, by the company Creative Words S.r.l. which provides below the information referred to in Art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679.

Type of data being processed

The Data Controller will process the following personal data:

Purpose of processing

Personal data will be processed by the Data Controller for the following purposes:

  1. to provide the information required for the conclusion of a contract;
  2. to send promotional and marketing communications;
  3. to subscribe to the newsletter.

Legal basis for processing

The legal basis justifying such processing, depending on the purpose, is:

  1. the pre-contractual phase to the possible conclusion of a contract [purpose no. 1];
  2. your express consent by ticking the relevant box [purposes nos. 2 and 3].

Recipients of Personal Data

Your data may be disclosed to the website operator.

Period of retention of Personal Data

Your data will be stored for the period necessary to process your request.
Data relating to promotional communications will be stored for 2 years unless you revoke your consent.
The data used to subscribe to the newsletter will be stored until you revoke your consent.

Consequences of failure to provide Personal Data

The communication of your personal data is necessary in order to provide the information you have requested. Failure to provide your personal data in the form will not allow the Company to proceed with providing you with the requested information.

Rights of the Data Subject

The Data Controller informs you that you have the right, within the limits prescribed by Regulation 2016/679, to:

  • access to personal data, i.e. to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of one’s own personal data, as well as to obtain information about the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed and, where possible, the storage period (Art. 15 GDPR 2016/679);
  • obtain the rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR 2016/679) and the deletion of data (upon the occurrence of one of the conditions set out in Art. 17(1) GDPR 2016/679 and in compliance with the exceptions set out in para. 3 of the same article);
  • obtain the restriction of the processing (in the occurrence of one of the cases referred to in Art. 18 para. 1 GDPR 2016/679);
  • request and obtain from the Controller – in cases where the legal basis of the processing is a contract or consent and the processing is carried out by automated means – the personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, also for the purpose of transmitting them to another data controller (Art. 20 GDPR 2016/679);
  • object to the processing at any time and also in the case of processing for direct marketing purposes (Art. 21 GDPR 2016/679);
  • object to an automated decision-making process relating to natural persons, including profiling (Art. 21 GDPR 2016/679), which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you;
  • revoke consent at any time, limited to cases where the processing is based on your consent, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before revocation.

The aforementioned rights may be exercised upon a request to that effect to be sent by dedicated e-mail to mail@pec.creative-words.com or by writing to CREATIVE WORDS S.r.l. with registered office in Via Cairoli, 1/4 – 16124 Genoa.
You also have the right:

  • not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or significantly affects you in a similar way;
  • to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Garante Privacy (by e-mail, at the address: garante@gpdp.it, or by post, to the Italian Data Protection Authority, located in Rome (Italy), Piazza Venezia 11 Scala B, postcode 00187);
  • to take appropriate legal action (Art. 79 of the Regulation).
