Vendor Relationship Manager
Videogame enthusiast, mostly listens to artists with less than a thousand monthly listeners on Spotify. If you can’t find him at a concert of one of these artists, he’s probably watching a two-hour video on some random topic.
When he was a young boy (!), he cleared the levels of videogames not in his native language but didn’t really understand how. He also discovered that there were no translated lyrics for Linkin Park songs online at the time, and decided on the spot to try to become a translator.
He graduates in Linguistic Mediation with a thesis that proposes alternative translation solutions for Breaking Bad. Somehow, he still rewatches the series from time to time even after analyzing it ten times in order to write his thesis.
Afterwards, he becomes a freelance translator in the videogame field for a year. This experience piques his interest in the translation industry as a whole and makes him eager to learn more about the various roles available.
He continues the academic path by studying Translation and Technology at the university of Forlì, where he discovers data analysis, terminology, (Romagna’s piadina) and Creative Words.
After a curricular internship at the company, he gets introduced to the marvelous world of Vendor Management, which makes him all the more certain of his jack-of-all-trades nature.
